Dr. DINESH. S was born in Chitradurga, on 18 May 1972, to Smt. Leelavathi and Siddavanahalli Shivanandappa. An achiever and a hard worker he has to his credit a number of degrees acquired at a very young age. After completing undergraduate studies, he joined Law course at Sarasawathi Law College in Chitradurga in the year 1993. After completion of LL. B, he acquired master Degree (LL.M) from University of Mysore Under Constitutional Law branch in 1996. in 2008 he was awarded Master of Philosophy in labour Studies from Maduri Kamaraj University Tamil Nadu, Further he also got another Master Degree (LL.M) on New Subject like Intellectual Property Law from Venkateshwara University, Thirupati, Andhra Prades,in 2009. He Received the Doctorate of Philosophy in Law (Ph.D) on the thesis "A Study On Geographical Indication As Tools To Protect The Traditional Knowledge Under Intellectual Property Rights" from University of North Orissa under the guidance of Dr. (Prof) Jayadevi Pati, Principal of Madhusudhana law College at Cuttack, Orissa and Co-guidance of Dr. N.C Patnaik, Principal Lingaraja Law College Berempur, Orissa in Feb 2015. He has written many articles in National and International Journals and presented the research papers in different National and State Level Conferences. He wrote Reference book on Lecture on Geographical Indications as Tools To Protect the Traditional Knowledge Under Intellectual Property Rights (ISBN 978-1-63042-930-0). Further, He worked as NSS officer for one decade, he was a visiting Guest faculty to the police training school at Imangala, Presently he is working as Principal in SJM Law College, Chitradurga, which is affiliated to the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, Karnataka and also recognised by the BCI, New-Delhi. India.
