Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Vidyapeeth
Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Vidhyapeeth is an apex body established under the Societies Act to organize and manage Educational and Cultural institutions with an intention to take education to the door steps of common people in rural and remote areas. This was started in the year 1966 by His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Mallikarjuna Murugharajendra Mahaswamiji, the then pontiff of Srimath. The present Seer Sri Dr. Shivamurthy Murughasharanaru is the president of this Vidhyapeeta under the spiritual and administrative guidance of whom about 150 institutions are running today.
These institutions include a Medical college, Dental College, Engineering College, Nursing College and Schools, Pharmacy College, Polytechnics, Degree College, High Schools, Primary and Nursery Schools, School of Dance, Drama and Music etc.,. Besides it has number of Hostels Schools for Physically Challenged and Orphan Children.
All these institutions are having dedicated and highly qualified faculty members and well equipped Lab facilities with modern equipment’s. All the facilities like Hostel, transportation, Library, internet and all students amenities provided in the campus.
